April 5, 2009 of Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia
This is one of the reasons why I am so amazed about Cambodia. They have the Floating Village floating 30 minutes away from the shore. There are approximately 1000 villagers, bar & restaurant, piggery, souvenier shop, and basketball court. They transport to the city for drinkable water, as you may see, the water may not freshens your thirst. And just like the usual village who live a usual life, the lake is where mothers wash the dishes. We even encountered kids playing in the water.
Tonle Sap Lake (meaning “Large Fresh Water River”) is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia.
