Swing!

May 20, 2007 – Laguna, Philippines

Caliraya Re-Creation Center and Resort has its unique location offering a breathtaking view of nature’s gifts in Laguna. It is a short ferry boat ride from the shore of the pristine man-made Caliraya Lake after riding 2-hours drive from Manila. The resort has fun-filled activities and facilities which provide fond memories for both learning institutions and family gatherings.

The Amphitheatre Flavio

Photographed by Mame

February 2, 2010 – The Amphitheatre Flavio, Rome

The Coliseum built on the order of the Imperator Vespasiano in the honour of the grandiosity of his empire, was inaugurated by his son, Tito, in 80 after Christ with celebrations 100 days long.

This is a real amphitheatre because it is oval. It is made from TWO theatres facing each other, thus “amphi” (Greek, “both”) + “theatre.”

Khmer Ladies

April 5, 2009 – Angkor Wat Temple, Cambodia

I thought these Khmer ladies were there because, like Baguio Igorots, they were waiting to pose for pictures with tourists and ask for payment. But I was wrong. Hehe. They didn’t. They just nodded, with sweet smiles, on our request to pose with them. They were only there – sitting, uhmm, waiting, and smiling for more pictures. This is why I supah I love them!

Sunset

December 31, 2010 – Coron Island, Palawan, Philippines

I am fond of Sunset and Sunrise and everything about the sky, sun, moon and stars. I don’t think there is someone who don’t like them. I like trees just simply because they branch out mightily. But I like most is their reflection against the Sunrise or Sunset. They always stand out and inspire me to embrace creativity.

Sunset Beyond

December 30, 2009 – La Sirenetta, Coron, Palawan, Philippines

As part of Calamianes Group of Islands and located southwest of Mindoro Island, Coron is the ancestral homeland of the Tagbanuas.

In the picture, La Sirenetta do have a perfect spot viewing from SeaDive Resort during sunset. The nipa hut-inspired restaurant stands still few feets above the water where poles are decorated with mermaids.

One can also kill time by playing billiards here.
